Greenhouse Watering

By On July 4, 2010 No Comments

When building greenhouse watering systems, there are many elements to consider. These include water requirements for plants, soil conditions, adequate ventilation (moisture control) and the practicality of your system design.

There are different types of greenhouse watering systems as well. You can design and install a totally automated system, one that you can put on a timer or controller and let the system do all of the watering, or a manual system that requires you or someone else to be there to do the work. The decision of automatic vs. manual is absolutely up to you and depends simply on your needs.

As soon as my brother discovered how much I loved the patio awning he was happy to show me that it was a motorised retractable awning and that he had it installed shortly after he bought the house.

He discovered patio awnings whilst in America and loved the fact that you could lounge around with the kids on the patio without the harmful rays of the sun getting at you. It was like being outside but inside at the same time. Getting an electric retractable patio awning was a great investment as it

It is possible to plant bulbs up to the end of May. This will have your garden blooming from June till October. You also need to make sure you plant in sunny areas of your garden, as bulbs like those areas. If you plant in flowerpots, you should put these in sunny spots of the garden too.

When it comes to the actual planting of bulbs, there are a few options you can take. One of them is using special garden tools like a bulb planter. There is a rule that states when planting bulbs; it must be planted in a depth, twice the size of its height. For example, a bulb that is 6cm in height would need a hole with a depth of 12cm.
